“On a Mission from God” will see Alex Britti and Max Gazzè once again on the same stage as in 2017 when they played  two concerts together at the Cavea of the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome. The event arose as a tribute to their common roots in the blues; in the nineties Alex and Max played together in the smoky blues clubs of all Europe.

Two years after those concerts, this already exceptional duo was joined by another extraordinary musician: the French drummer Manu Katché whose curriculum boasts long collaborations with Peter Gabriel, Sting, Pink Floyd, Joe Satriani, Dire Straits and, among Italian artists, Pino Daniele and Stefano Bollani.

The concert will see Gazzè, Britti and Katché together in an unusual formation. Britti, one of the most beloved songwriters of the Italian public and a phenomenal guitarist, Max Gazzè, a refined bass player, an extremely eclectic artist who succeeds in turning every one of his projects into a success and Manu Katché, a world-famous drummer: these three together for a new unmissable event.
