FRANCESCA TANDOI & STEFANO SENNI
A young talent from Rome, a big fan of Oscar Peterson and the great swinging virtuoso piano players, Francesca Tandoi started her career studying classical music and then discovered her vocation: jazz music. She moved to the Netherlands in 2009 where she studied in prestigious academic institutions such as the Royal Conservatory of The Hague and achieved her first successes. Her artistic path belongs to the glorious pianists/singers tradition.She will perform at Umbria Jazz with double bass player Stefano Senni. He was a pupil of Rosario Bonaccorso, among others. He has performed live with Tony Scott, Art Farmer, Benny Golson, Lee Konitz, Barry Harris, Cedar Walton, Steve Grossman, Randy Brecker.
The duo offers a polite and sophisticated jazz performance at the Restaurant Stage of the Arena before the concerts on the main stage.
