“Le canzoni di Mina” DANILO REA, MASSIMO MORICONI, ALFREDO GOLINO Danilo Rea is one of the musicians, not only Italian, who has performed most assiduously in the summer and winter editions of Umbria Jazz, due also to the eclecticism that has led him to propose very diverse musical projects. Rea handles this complicated plurality of formulas with a great sense of melody and an engaging emotional approach. For these reasons he has worked a lot, throughout the course of his career, on the side of the best songwriting and this with Mina is undoubtedly one of the highest points of these partnerships. This recital is dedicated to the Tigre di Cremona, icon of Italian song, in which you can listen to the well-known, and dear to Italians of many generations, melodies in a jazz key. With Rea are two other musicians of great depth and experience like Moriconi and Golino who have also collaborated with Mina in many songs and who, due to their mutual synchronicity, are the ideal protagonists of the project, occupying the other two vertices of an equilateral triangle in perfect equilibrium. The idea of the trio to pay tribute to Mina was also translated into a very recent album, entitled “Tre per una”.
