"Love In Translation" ROSARIO GIULIANI, JOE LOCKE, DARIO DEIDDA, ROBERTO GATTO Love in Translation, the title of a very recent album, marks the return of a collaboration between Rosario Giuliani and Joe Locke which was born in Umbria Jazz twenty years ago. And so the artistic partnership that links the two musicians is re-established, one Italian, the other American, who, over time, have become undisputed protagonists of the international jazz scene. Both are today considered true references for their instruments: a prestige acquired in many projects as leader and in collaboration with other important artists of the contemporary scene. Assisted by two other masters of their instruments, bassist Dario Deidda and drummer Roberto Gatto, Giuliani and Locke find themselves, once again, sealing on the stage of Umbria Jazz the twentieth anniversary of this sparkling mutual interaction of theirs, which has also become friendship, with a live project, intense and passionate, and, not by chance, dedicated to the strongest of feelings, love. As their record is intense, in which you can listen to famous themes such as "Duke Ellington's Sound of Love" (Charles Mingus) or "Love Letters" together with original pieces including two moving tributes to great musicians who are no longer with us, Roy Hargrove and Marco Tamburini
