Mario Corvini Big Band was born from an idea by Mario Corvini. The Mario Corvini Big Band is a classic jazz ensemble, the result of years of orchestral activity. It consists of 16 members plus the conductor and is made up predominantly of young and highly talented jazz musicians. Supported by artists with extensive international experience, the band ensures a high level of both performance and improvisation.
The MCBB’s repertoire features original compositions by Mario Corvini, which stem from years of collaborations. While maintaining a distinctive artistic identity, the project is continuously enriched with new structures and ideas thanks to the contributions of the soloists invited to collaborate.
