The project
Umbria Jazz Orchestra is a project of Umbria Jazz that brings together some of the best musicians on the international jazz scene. The UJ Orchestra’s debut album, Bud Powell in the 21st Century (Sunnyside Records, 2020), immediately got outstanding feedback. On the album, Ethan Iverson takes the role of arranger for the first time.
