Blackmerend’ass, born Tommaso Merendoni, has been collecting vinyl since 2013, when he and his friend Leonardo decided to combine their parents’ record collections and start selecting records in clubs. Thanks to his experience at Serendipity Club, he grew increasingly passionate about the warm, analog sound of vinyl and expanded his musical search, ranging from jazz and funk to softer, infectious house, including tribal and afro-futuristic sounds.
From 2019 to 2022, he was Artistic Director and Event Coordinator at SRNDPT CLUB in Foligno. In 2022, he co-founded the cultural association GROUND. Since October of the same year, he has directed Retrofuturo, a format exploring sound from all angles — rooted in the past with eyes on the future. Since October 2023, he is also co-director of the new format One-To-One.
Disco Prepotente is a musical collective of three friends who grew up together in Perugia — tireless diggers with a passion for rare records. A crew born from the streets and a nickname that sounded exaggerated: “the bullies.” They play House, Italian library music, ’80s-’90s electronic, dark Funk, twisted grooves, and rare gems beyond categories. Their sets are a continuous journey of intuition and deep cuts — a lively selection fueled by ongoing and careful research.
