Conad Jazz Contest: voting by the people’s jury begins

Starting today, 9 June, voting is open to select one of the 10 finalists of the ninth edition of the Conad Jazz Contest, a competition dedicated to emerging musicians between 18 and 28 years old.

Starting from today and until June 22, 2022, all supporters of the competing bands and all jazz enthusiasts can be part of the people’s jury of the Conad Jazz Contest 2022, and choose one of the 10 finalists – the other 9 will be selected by a technical jury – who will perform on the prestigious Umbria Jazz stage in Perugia.

The people’s jury is open to all. Voting is very simple: just register on the official website of the contest and express your preference, assigning up to a maximum of 10 votes in total. Online voting will close at 11.59 pm on Wednesday 22 June 2022.

Conad clients can find a direct link to the contest site directly on the pages of Bene Insieme, the monthly magazine distributed in stores throughout the Italian territory, in its June edition: just frame the QR code on the page that talks about the contest and register on the site to be part of the jury.

There are 81 bands competing, for a total of 249 musicians, and representatives of all Italian regions, with Campania, Lazio, Lombardy and Tuscany presenting the largest number of competitors. The average age of the participants is between 23 and 24 years old.

The registered musicians have already begun to make themselves known, and even before the start of the voting by the popular jury, over 3900 plays were recorded on the official website.

Many bands have signed up in the last few hours, and many already invite their fans through their social channels to express their preference.
