Fabrizio Sferra had the idea of re-establishing the bond with Enzo Pietropaoli in two famous Italian jazz bands, Open Space with Enrico Pieranunzi and Doctor 3 with Danilo Rea. This time, it was not a piano trio but one with guitar, and the choice fell upon a young, well-known artist: Edoardo Ferri, born in 2002, has grown musically thanks to important educational experiences with guitar stars such as Lage Lund, Peter Bernstein, Fabio Zeppetella, and Roberto Cecchetto.
The result is a small band open to any musical adventure, easily able to range from jazz classics to standards to great rock songs. Moreover, they have reached instinctive harmony despite the generational gap. The trio started rehearsing in a car garage in Rome: a full-fledged garage band in a jazz key.
