Luca Mannutza – Filippo Bianchini Duo “A tu per tu”

Filippo Bianchini and Luca Mannutza‘s new album “A tu per tu” has a sense of musical encounter, which also happens on stage. Bianchini was born in Orvieto and graduated in saxophone at the Conservatory of Perugia with teacher Mario Raja. Still, he is an international musician for his long stays abroad, especially in the Netherlands and Belgium.

The study of great African-American artists and the encounter with Massimo Urbani’s music led him to dedicate effort and inspiration to jazz and saxophone. In 2014, he released an album after an intense live and studio activity with significant European and American jazz artists.

Luca Mannutza is from Sardinia and graduated at the Conservatory of Cagliari. He is among the most famous Italian jazz pianists. His many prestigious collaborations demonstrate this: Paolo Fresu, Maurizio Giammarco, Emanuele Cisi, Bebo Ferra, and Max Ionata. Also, he has an intense partnership with Roberto Gatto and Fabrizio Bosso, with whom he also plays as organist. Mannutza has been a member of the High Five Quintet, one of the most successful Italian jazz bands. He also led the Roma Trio, Sound Advice and Sound Six.
