Olivia Trummer was born in Stuttgart, where she started studying classical piano at four. She soon showed a great interest in jazz, improvised music and composition. She continued her studies at the Manhattan School of Music in New York. The formative years spent in the world capital of jazz and her deep bond with classical music are the basis of her inspiration. The discovery of her vocation as a singer and songwriter completed her musical identity. Her articulated and curious artistic path is reflected in her discography, which to date includes nine albums. Her latest record, “For You”, came out in March 2022 for Warner Music and included nine original songs on integrity and courage. Fabrizio Bosso and guitarist Kurt Rosenwinkel, Olivia’s long-time collaborator, are special guests in this work.
She is also active in Italy: she formed a trio with Rosario Bonaccorso and Nicola Angelucci. She recorded “Dialogue’s Delight” with the latter.
